MIT University Sikkim follows a transparent and merit-based admission process for all academic programs. The procedure varies by program level.

Selection Criteria

Merit Calculation

  • Academic performance in qualifying examination
  • Entrance examination scores (where applicable)
  • Interview performance (for select programs)
  • Work experience (for MBA and professional programs)

Reservation Policy

Reservations are provided as per Sikkim State Government and UGC guidelines for SC/ST/OBC and other categories.

Document Verification

Required Originals

  • Class 10th and 12th certificates and mark sheets
  • Graduation certificates and mark sheets (for PG)
  • Transfer certificate and migration certificate
  • Category certificates (if applicable)
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Character certificate from last institution

Verification Process

Shortlisted candidates must appear in person for document verification. Candidates failing to produce original documents will be disqualified.

Fee Payment

Payment Schedule

Selected candidates must pay fees within specified time to confirm admission.

  • Demand draft in favor of MIT University Sikkim
  • Cash payment at university finance office
