Rebates for Students

Students can also pay fees in interest-free installments.

Education Loan Facility

  • All courses of MIT University Sikkim are covered for grant of loan.
  • Speedy disposal of loan application.
  • Sanction can be accorded by the branch of the respective bank where the campus is located, irrespective of the location of the student.
  • Loans are sanctioned at a concessional rate of interest as compared to the normal scheme of the respective bank.
  • The student can cover all expenses (e.g., hostel, stationery, etc.) while applying for the loan.

Special Scholarships

Leading Indian & International individuals & companies may institute many scholarships/awards for meritorious students of MIT University Sikkim. Some of them provide 50% to 100% scholarship to meritorious students via scholarship exam such as:

  • Jai Bhanbhouri Mata Scholarship
  • Prof. S.R. Mittal Memorial Scholarship
  • Lohpurush Scholarship

Renewal & Continuation

Fellowships, scholarships, and studentships may be renewed provided the student secures at least 50% marks in I and II Semester examinations and maintains an all-round satisfactory record of work and attendance, to be certified by the Head of the Department concerned. The value of the fellowships, scholarships, and studentships shall be as determined from time to time by the University.
